Deferment Forms

Postby Rumor on Fri Oct 24, 2008 9:27 am

Can someone please share with me how to download a deferment form? I have been able to in the past but it appears that they have put up some roadblocks to doing so now and I have spent the last hour trying to do so to no avail. Thanks in advance.
I am so glad I found this site. I am a new member as of today. Hello all.

dDear Gadfly,

Thank you for your response. It can get very frustrating not being able to get to a site that they advertise as an option. I finally sent a letter to them requesting a form and I have not heard anything back from them. This was over 10 days ago. I did recieve a threatening letter from them though.
If you could sent me to a site that I can download a form I would greatly appreciate it. I do not understand why they have put the roadblocks up so you can't get one. As I had stated in my earlier message, I have downloaded a form in the past with no problem.
Thank you for your time and assistance,

Rumor

Can anyone post a deferment letter here? I am just curious as to what exactly they say...I am doing research for a client of mine that is having difficulties obtaining deferment.

You can also find many forms on:
http://www.nchelp.org

Just go to the menu bar on the left side, click on e-library and choose forms in the submenu.

http://www.nchelp.org/elibrary/index.cfm?parent=61

They have many forms and other related information. This website is sponsored by the National Council of Higher Eduction Loan Programs. You can also read the common-line manual in which all schools, lenders and guarantors must use in the student loan program.

Hope this helps!
